The Compliance Documents dashboard tile provides contractors with immediate operational visibility over their insurance, safety, and pre-qualification certifications. By tracking expiry statuses directly on the dashboard workspace, resources are empowered to proactively update critical credentials, preventing automated assignment blocks on Client properties due to lapsed documentation.

Default View & Functionality

The tile functions as a structured List tracking element, displaying real-time compliance health across three operational categories:

Current: Displays the total count of valid compliance documents that either contain no restricted date boundaries or whose active validation dates span across the contractor’s local time zone today.

Expiring: Displays the count of valid compliance documents that are scheduled to expire within the next 30 days. This alert window is fixed and non-configurable to ensure adequate renewal lead times.

Expired: Displays the count of legacy compliance documents whose mandatory validation end date has passed into history.

Interaction & Navigation Workflow

Selecting any individual item row from the list navigates the user away from the dashboard workspace, initiating a drill-through path directly to your filtered resource record data:

Click <Current> to load the comprehensive document vault repository view containing all active documents.

Click <Expiring> to display a high-priority targeted list of records requiring swift renewal action before access is blocked.

Click <Expired> to view lapsed historical documents that require immediate replacement.

System Configuration & Pre-requisites

For data to compile and display accurately within this dashboard layout, system administrators must ensure the following background configurations are met:

Document Categorisation Type: The system looks specifically for documents classified under the structural "Pre-Qualification" category code. Ensure at least one resource document type is mapped to this constraint by navigating to Core Data > Document Types > Resource.

Contractor Timezone Caching: To accurately process expiry cut-offs across global geographies without degrading system rendering performance, contractor timezones are held in local memory using a sliding execution window:

A 2-minute sliding expiry cycle (resetting automatically each time a user requests or refreshes dashboard data).

A 10-minute absolute expiry boundary, forcing a database sync regardless of user activity.

Access Restrictions & Security Permissions

To view this interactive list element, your profile architecture must be explicitly authorised.

Required Permission: Your user account profile must possess the security right: Can View Contractor Documents.

Profile Allocation: The "Compliance Documents" tile must be assigned to your dashboard layout group.

Non-Contractor Safeguard: This element is strictly built for external supply chain partners. If a internal non-contractor user attempts to render this workspace segment, the system will intercept the call and display a standardised user tile permission validation error message.
