Work Order Statuses
A list of Work Order Statuses
A Work Order can go through a number of different statuses based on where it is in it's lifecycle and the type of Work Order it is. below is a list of the different statuses and the type of Work Orders they apply to along with descriptions of what the statuses mean.
Reactive Work Order
0.03 - Pending resource allocation and schedule set - Work Order Created, with no Resource or Schedule
0.04 - Pending resource allocation - Work Order Created, Schedule Set
0.05 - Pending schedule set - Work Order Created, Resource Allocated
1.00 - Pending Assign - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource
1.01 - Pending assign - additional info required - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as additional information is required
1.02 - Pending assign - resource uncontactable - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as Resource is not contactable
1.03 - Pending Acceptance - Work Order sent to Resource, pending their acknowledgement
1.04 - Pending assign - recalled - Work Order previously attended, but recalled and not yet sent back to the Resource
2.00 - Pending Attendance - Work Order accepted by the Resource, awaiting operative arrival to site
3.00 - Attendance started - Work Order started by Resource Operative
4.00 - Attendance paused - temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has been put in place by the Resource
4.01 - Attendance paused - no temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has not been put in place by the Resource
5.00 - Job completed - awaiting additional information - Work Order completed, awaiting end user sign off or additional documentation to be provided
5.01 - Job completed - in invoice process - Work Order completed, awaiting invoice
5.02 - Job completed - no invoice expected - Work Order completed, not awaiting invoice
Quote Work Order
0.10 - Pending schedule and specification - Work Order Created, with no Specification or Schedule
0.11 - Pending schedule - Work Order Created, Specification provided
0.12 - Pending specification - Work Order Created, Schedule Set
0.13 - Pending quote request - Work Order Created, awaiting requests to be sent to Resource(s)
0.14 - Pending quote receipt - Work Order sent to Resource, pending their quotation response
0.15 - Pending quote selection - Work Order sent to Resource and one or more responses received, awaiting selection of quote
1.10 - Pending Assign - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource
1.12 - Pending assign - resource uncontactable - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as Resource is not contactable
1.13 - Pending Acceptance - Work Order sent to Resource, pending their acknowledgement
1.14 - Pending assign - recalled - Work Order previously attended, but recalled and not yet sent back to the Resource
2.10 - Pending Attendance - Work Order accepted by the Resource, awaiting operative arrival to site
3.10 - Attendance started - Work Order started by Resource Operative
4.10 - Attendance paused - temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has been put in place by the Resource
4.11 - Attendance paused - no temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has not been put in place by the Resource
5.10 - Job completed - awaiting additional information - Work Order completed, awaiting end user sign off or additional documentation to be provided
5.11 - Job completed - in invoice process - Work Order completed, awaiting invoice
5.12 - Job completed - no invoice expected - Work Order completed, not awaiting invoice
PPM Work Order
1.20 - Pending Assign - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource
1.22 - Pending assign - resource uncontactable - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as Resource is not contactable
1.23 - Pending Acceptance - Work Order sent to Resource, pending their acknowledgement
1.24 - Pending assign - recalled - Work Order previously attended, but recalled and not yet sent back to the Resource
2.20 - Pending Attendance - Work Order accepted by the Resource, awaiting operative arrival to site
3.20 - Attendance started - Work Order started by Resource Operative
4.22 - Job incomplete - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit
5.20 - Job completed - awaiting additional information - Work Order completed, awaiting provision of a certificate/worksheet
5.21 - Job completed - in invoice process - Work Order completed, awaiting invoice
5.22 - Job completed - no invoice expected - Work Order completed, not awaiting invoice
5.28 - WO Closed but not done - Work Order closed as no attendance has been recorded and the PPM dates have passed
Audit Work Order
0.33 - Pending resource allocation and schedule set - Work Order Created, with no Specification or Schedule
0.34 - Pending resource allocation - Work Order Created, Schedule Set
0.35 - Pending schedule set - Work Order Created, Resource Allocated
1.30 - Pending Assign - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource
1.31 - Pending assign - additional info required - additional info required - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as additional information is required
1.32 - Pending assign - resource uncontactable - Work Order Created, Schedule Set and Resource Allocated but not sent to Resource as Resource is not contactable
1.33 - Pending Acceptance - Work Order sent to Resource, pending their acknowledgement
1.34 - Pending assign - recalled - Work Order previously attended, but recalled and not yet sent back to the Resource
2.30 - Pending Attendance - Work Order accepted by the Resource, awaiting operative arrival to site
3.30 - Attendance started - Work Order started by Resource Operative
4.30 - Attendance paused - temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has been put in place by the Resource
4.31 - Attendance paused - no temp fix - Work Order attended, but paused for a follow up visit. A temporary fix has not been put in place by the Resource
5.30 - Job completed - awaiting additional information - Work Order completed, awaiting end user sign off or additional documentation to be provided
5.31 - Job completed - in invoice process - Work Order completed, awaiting invoice
5.32 - Job completed - no invoice expected - Work Order completed, not awaiting invoice
Purchase Work Order
0.43 - Pending supplier allocation and required delivery date - Purchase Order Created, with no Supplier or Delivery Date
0.44 - Pending supplier allocation - Purchase Order Created, Delivery Date Set
0.45 - Pending required delivery date - Purchase Order Created, Supplier Set
1.40 - Pending order submission - Purchase Order Created, Supplier and Delivery Date set, not sent to Supplier
1.41 - Pending order submission - additional info required - Purchase Order Created, Supplier and Delivery Date set, not sent to Supplier as additional information is required
1.42 - Pending order submission - supplier uncontactable - Purchase Order Created, Supplier and Delivery Date set, not sent to Supplier as Supplier is not contactable
1.43 - Pending order acknowledgement - Purchase Order sent to Supplier, pending their acknowledgement
2.40 - Pending dispatch - Purchase Order sent to Supplier, pending dispatch of goods
3.40 - Dispatched - pending delivery - Purchase Order sent to Supplier, and goods dispatched, pending delivery of goods
4.40 - Partial delivery - pending checks - Purchase Order items partially delivered, awaiting check by site
4.41 - Partial delivery - Purchase Order items partially delivered, not awaiting check by site
5.40 - Fully delivered - pending checks - Purchase Order items fully delivered, awaiting check by site
5.41 - Fully delivered - in invoice process - Purchase Order Completed, awaiting invoice
5.42 - Fully delivered - no invoice expected - Purchase Order Completed, not awaiting invoice
Cancelled Work Order - these statuses apply to all types of Work Orders when they are cancelled
0.09 - Cancelled - Work Order Cancelled following creation process
1.09 - Cancelled - Work Order Cancelled following assignment to Resource
2.09 - Cancelled - Work Order Cancelled following acceptance by the Resource
5.09 - Cancelled - Work Order Cancelled (this status only applies to Invoice Only PPM Work Orders)
